The whole history of Ukraine is a constant struggle for freedom and independence, which we have been defending for many centuries.

Being part of the republics of the USSR, the Ukrainian people were constantly subject to persecution and repression. This struggle is witnessed by the Holodomor of 1931-1933 when, under the tyrannical regime of Stalin, the lives of millions of Ukrainians were claimed. This catastrophic page in the history of Ukraine is recognized (by most countries) as the Genocide of the Ukrainian People.

HOLODOMOR IS ONLY ONE EXAMPLE. POLITICAL REPRESSIONS AND PERSECUTIONS OF DISSIDENTS WERE EVER-PRESENT BEFORE, DURING, AND AFTER THE SECOND WORLD WAR (1937-1953) UNDER THE URSS REGIME.

IN THE HISTORY OF UKRAINE AGAIN

It's been 30 years since Ukraine regained its freedom and became an independent state, leaving the USSR. We have chosen the path of freedom and independence, deciding to join all the progressive humanity of our planet. But our choice did not please the dictatorial regime of Russia, headed by Vladimir Putin, a contemporary follower of Joseph Stalin and Adolf Hitler. And again, the Ukrainian people stood up to defend their freedom and independence!

The fascist regime of Russia started another war against our people, setting as its goal the destruction and enslavement of both the Ukrainian nation-state.
