The tree of life growing from a strong root is the fundamental symbol and key for understanding the artist’s work (and it is one of her favorite images). It is not only because Kristina Gaidamaka is a descendant of the famous dynasty of Ukrainian artists Anatolii Gaidamaka and Larisa Mishchenko. It is also because something new and unusual, sometimes unexpected, is constantly growing on the tree of her creativity. On her personal “tree of life” there are a lot of branches that turn green, bloom, give fruits, quench thirst and seduce at the same time. Dreaminess, passion, talent, creativity, love and irrepressible curiosity about the native land — these are the things which grow and feed the creativity of a bright artist.

Kristina has been a member of the National Union of Artists of Ukraine since 1996. The artist has participated in national and international solo and collective exhibitions for more than 15 years.

Her works are presented in galleries and private collections in Ukraine, the USA, Canada, Italy, Macedonia, Croatia, Holland, France and the United Arab Emirates.

With particular passion and professional vision, Kristina is also implementing herself in the field of architecture and object design.
